Mass communicationPhotography is the art, image, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of a image sensor. Photography is a digital methods of image capture and display processing have enabled the new technology of “light field photography”. It is identified as a post image capture focus algorithm.Typically a lens is used in photography to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure. The result in an electronic image sensor is an electronic charge at pixel level, which is processed by electronically and stored in a digital image file for subsequent display and processing. The result in a photographic emulsion is an invisible latent image, which is later chemically developed into a visible image, either negative or positive dependingon the purpose of the photographic material and the method of processing. A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image on a paper base, known as a print, either by using an enlarger or by contact printing.

Color photography
was explored in the mid of 19th century. Autochrome, is the first
commercially successful color process. Focussing control of the camera is a viewed
object or the adjustment of an optical device necessary to produce a clear
image. They have a different types of focal length as normal, long focus, wide
angle, telephoto, macro, fisheye or zoom.
The nature of the light recording material is a resolution
measured in pixels and grains of silver halide.
