  •                 Citroen have launched the new C4 Picasso and this new model boasts a bright uncluttered interior and the latest technologies. The C4 Picasso offers a range of new efficient engines including a new Euro 6 compliant 'BlueHDi' powerplant which will be available from November production. CO2 emissions are just 98g/km and fuel economy is very impressive returning 74.3 mpg. The exterior of the new picasso is more compact than the outgoing model it is 4cm shorter in length  with reduced overhangs, wider tracks, a lower position for the engine block and vehicle floor with a roofline that is 4cm lower. The front end daytime-running lights set high above new hi-tech headlights brings this model right up to date. The rear LED lights feature a futuristic and novel 3D effect, which is fast becoming a Citroen hallmark and a new enveloping tailgate suggests roominess and strength. there are eight colours to choose from and all versions are fitted with alloy wheels as standard. The interior of the new C4 Picasso features an uncluttered, loft-style interior ambience with a combined glazed area of up to 5.3 m2.
                                 This includes a standard specification panoramic windscreen which is unique to the segment and an optional large glass sunroof that gives light throughout the cabin. The quality of material used in the interior is of a high standard and there is a lot of attention to detail. Light coloured Nappa leather is a very attractive choice for the interior and the door panels feature a laser engraved pattern and the asymmetric graphic on the front seats gives the appearance of a on-piece bench. The boot space is outstanding and has been increased by forty litres and the electric tailgate design means it can be closed even when loads protrude past the open aperture. It is extremely comfortable in the rear for passengers as the full size adult seats can be tilted and adjusted for increased comfort.

                                  French giant Citroen is going back to basics with its new family car. But don't call it a no-frills budget crossover vehicle, or Citroen executives will get prickly.Instead, they describe their new C4 cactus as a car which 'sheds the superfluour' and eliminates unnecessary and fiddly knobs and buttons. A prototype unveiled at this month's Frankfurt Motor Show, offers a pretty clear idea what the production version will look like when launched in February, just ahead of the Geneva motor show. Standard specification is generous with 7 inch Touch Drive interace that controls all the vehicle settings and in-car functions such as the dual-zone air conditioning, satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and DAB digital radio. There is a panoramic 12 inch screen which can be configured to display additional driving information such as cruise control and speed limiter settings. Another additional option is Citroens Multicity Connect which is controlled from the 7 inch touchpad, this system allows you to find the nearest service station, hotel or restaurant plus you can get weather updates and traffic information. Safety in the Picasso is outstanding thanks to a high level of equipment to protect occupants of all ages. The new C4 Picasso has been awarded a five star EuroNCAP rating with an impressive 88% score in the child occupant category.
