The Perfect Poached Egg as a Morning Breakfast

                   Mornings are the busiest time of the day. On one hand you are in a hurry to get to office or college in time. On the other hand, You are hungry after a long break after dinner. So that puts you in a fix to choose a breakfast recipe that will be suitable. Ideally, you would probably like to have breakfast like a king but time doesn't permit you to choose elaborate breakfast recipes. In that case, poached eggs with patties is the ideal quick breakfast for you. Eggs for breakfast are very healthy. Especially if you are having 'poached eggs with patties, you are reducing your calorie count. Incidentally, poached eggs with patties also makes a very quick breakfast. So you need not worry about getting late to office.  Poached eggs on patties is a very easy and quick breakfast recipe. This recipe can be prepare din minutes. Check out the recipe.





Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Eggs-4
  • Salami Slices-4
  • Patties -4
  • Molten Cheese- 2tbsp
  • Tomato-1 (sliced)
  • Potatoes-2 (boiled)
  • Butter-1 tbsp
  • Pepper-1 tsp
  • Olive Oil-1 tsp
  • Olives-4
  • Salt-as per taste
Procedure:

  1. Break one egg at a time on a flat heated pan. Give the eggs about a minute or two to get poached.
  2. Then add the olive oil to the pan and warm it. Saute the salami slices on the pan for 1/2 a minute each.
  3. Mash the boiled potatoes. Add, salt, pepper and butte to it.
  4. Put a layer of mashed potatoes on the patties
  5. Now place the sauteed salami sliced on the patties. Top it with the tomato slices and the poached eggs. 
  6. Finally add a dollop of molten cheese on each of the poached eggs with patties.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish the poached eggs with patties and one olive each.
  • Have your poached eggs with patties hot and it will melt in your mouth.
Perfect Poached Egg:

               Bring a SMALL pot of water to a rapid boil and pour in a drop of apple cider vinegar. Crack one egg, being careful to keep the yolk in tact, and slip the egg into the boiling water. With a spatula, keep the water moving by gently sweeping the water above the egg. After a minute or two use the spatula to lift the egg from the water to check to see if it's done. The perfect poached egg will have a cooked white and a bright yellow yolk. Serve immediately! My kiddos Love these eggs served in a bowl with a sprinkle of sea salt and some cracked black pepper.
