This is the season for luxury compact crossover concepts, as BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti and others are getting into the game.Add Lexus to the list, which sneak peeks their new LF-NX concept. The Vehicle will be unveiled next week at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor show. While many auto manufacturer's are coy, Lexus has come right out and said this concept "explores the potential for a compact crossover" to be added to their brand's lineup. In the world, many auto manufacturers are coy. And like its peers making their debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Lexus LF-NX concept is powered by the latest generation of hybrid powertrains which will promise the both performance and efficency. Lexus is not a thinly veiled production model and its styling is extreme and edgy in ways that rarely make it to a production line. It has sharply and outspoken flourishes of the Lexus design language can we call aggressive to say the least.
The front features the strongest iteration of the Lexus spindle grille and inset headlamps, take the organic theme from the 2014 IS sedans a few steps further. The overall profile is muscular and sporting, perhaps over the top and it is elegant. It has more mechanical details and size specifications. Touch-sensitive electrostatic switches oriented like sliders are mounted on the center console just below a high-positioned main display.
